Description

A trigger is an intense emotional reaction to a perceived threat based on a similar situation of a person's past or when a deep wound or negative belief about self has been touched.
Although no one chooses to be triggered - because sometimes our reactions are over-dramatic, harsh or embarrassing - it's something the majority of us have experienced and need to heal. 
Learning to recognize when we've been triggered, gives us valuable information that can lead us to the origin of our dysfunctional reactions and start us on the healing path.
