Psalm 23:2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.
God makes me – I do not know on my own when all is well and provided for
Lie down = I am safe in His leading to this place
Green pastures = All that I need is there and comfortable/it is not a rocky place
Matthew 11:28
He leads me beside quiet waters
It is God who is doing the leading and knows where He wants me to go
Beside = not in the water but close enough to access it
Quiet = waters of rest calm not rushing so that I may drink freely and without concern
Water = that which is necessary to provide and sustain life
