Played it in Rouse's and the lights went out.
I had been telling Markell we were gonna make a song named Mondo since late 2013. So one night we were hanging out; and me, Portman, and my friend Gui had all just smoked in the cemetery across the street from where I live. We went back inside and Portman was talking about this drum break he heard on Never Again by D.R.A.M. He felt like it need to be sampled in one of his beats because it seemed neglected. He proceeded to make this beat. Me, Gui, and Markell started chanting the name from the grave I always smoke at, Rohr Bacher; and then I was like we should make Mondo using this beat. We both did verses to it and that was it. We let people hear it for the first time by performing it last at one of our shows.We recorded it the a couple days before releasing it. Me and Portman were up until like 6a.m. mixing it and tweaking stuff. Throughout the day me and Markell noticed that different places we went to and played the song had light outages like his school and a supermarket I went to named Rouse's. We're convinced that this song is turning out lights wherever we go.
