Over the past few years Jakob has become an influential figure in the Stuttgart scene, running events with his Midnight Service crew and playing alongside acts like Johannes Albert, Marie Lung and Panthera Krause. When he’s not been playing live he’s been notching up acclaimed releases on Frank Music, Zissou, Skylax and Berlin Bass Collective as well as his own Constant Change imprint.
Title-track ‘Sparkling’ kicks off the EP with crunchy percussion and rounded bass notes. Classic piano lines interplay with spiralling synths and acid hooks while echoing snare hits drive you through this peak-time track.
'Enjoy The Light’ blends modern Deep House sounds with club-focussed 90’s nostalgia. Low slung drums and shuffling percussion bounce alongside bright keys and breathy angelic vocals while spaced out synth licks unfold across the track giving an added sense of depth and warmth.
