Youth Voice Youth Choice empowers 6th – 8th grade Langley girls to tell stories about what helps and what harms youth and provides the tools for students to develop policy and services that are initiated, planned and executed in partnership with adults allies. During the 2017-2018 school year, Youth Voice Youth Choice students recorded this piece as part of their effort to change school culture and to ultimately decrease negative behavior. This piece will soon be part of a series. Students will present their audio to their principal with the goal of having one piece played on the announcement system once per week for five consecutive weeks.
