1. Wie würdest du deine Biographie formulieren, die mit nur einem Satz auf alle 5 W Fragen(WER? WIE? WAS? WANN? WO?) eine Antwort für uns hat?
Cinematic modern electronic music where groove meets harmony and melody.
2. Wann & wo hattest du eigentlich dein erstes Mal? Ähm ja oder besser gefragt in welcher Situation, hast du das erste Mal wirklich bewusst an einem Mischpult gestanden?
My first time was in my own bedroom on an old dusty mixer I bought at that time. I often had friends over and we played all together our own new discovered pirated tunes. One of my friends was the MC and the others and I played a b2b2b set.
3. Was genau haben deine Eltern dazu gesagt, als du ihnen gesagt hast, dass du ein DJ werden willst?
They were quite easy with my decisions and told me that I could do everything I wanted to do. I was always working on my own music, did recordings and I drummed in a fanfare. So it was nothing weird for them.
4. Wie würdest du deine Musik charakterisieren?
Good one.. to be honest, I don’t know. But what I personally really like is euphoric and cinematic music. And I think if people compose music it’s a reflection of what they like and heard in the past.
5. Wo hat für dich Musik ihre Grenzen?
In the studio, there are no borders. Always working on different stuff like indie rock, fushion and electronica. But if I’ve to play in a club setting or something else, I’m always looking for tracks which are more danceable.
6. Deine DJ-Vorbilder früher waren?
I really like the way Derrick May plays his music. Very playful and nonchalant but at the same time very tight. Also really impressed by the footage and studio sessions of Carl Cox. But back in the days I was more interested in producers and musicians instead of dj’s.
