Description

The Duo Altfrau & Raubitzki presents "On The Rhodes" the latest work from the Mainzer studio. The four tracks are the pleasure to a hot year for the Rhinelanders. The title-giving play "On The Rhodes" combines house with a striking Catchy melody and embeds these on gentle percussions. The focus is on how the name already suggests, the legendary Rhodes, who already in the production stage Bell-like sound. While Altfrau & Raubitzki successively more levels in the track bring the song to a hot beam to a place in the early Evening hours in the club, it becomes only with the repeated hearing clear how deeply "On The Rhodes" is. With a skillful melancholic twist at the end, the two prove that club music is more than just a stoic repeating in the Four-fourths.
How awesome and talented the producer duo is, they also prove with the two other originals tracks on the release. ''Pushin On" is a classic house number that is aborted and with a constant drive extremely. Beautiful elements from past decades snuggle up nicely to a warm piano, which is a counterpoint to the Minimal groove.
For the peaktime, Altfrau & Raubitzki "Gotta Work For It", the Chicago House in the Best styles. A pleasantly groaning bass stands here with driving percussionist Foreground, combined with a soulful vocal that burns itself into the memory. Thanks to Intelligent design and speedy drums, "Gotta Work For It" is one of these digital B pages, which make the hour-long track search fulfilling. A track that is in the Bar feels as comfortable as at half past 3 in the club.
