St. Romain 0039 | The S Double Mix (Part I: Ballroom)
At the height of COVID, I was invited by St. Romain to broadcast on Soho Radio London — a station with an ear for the underground and a heart that beats in every genre Soho has ever touched. For me, it was a chance to answer isolation with rhythm.
The result was Mix 0039: The S Double Mix, split into two sides:
Part I: Ballroom Beats (this upload) – raw, percussive energy, echoing the ballroom floor that still lived inside us even when the venues were silent.
Part II: House Music (archived on Mixcloud) – deeper grooves and release, a meditation on resilience and healing.
The original feature included a Q&A that has since been lost online, but these mixes remain as time capsules — a moment when music was the lifeline, keeping us connected across closed borders and locked doors.

Eternal thanks to St. Romain and Soho Radio for keeping culture alive when the world stood still.
