Description

My friend Saffron came to me with these lyrics and we spent a couple of days writing and recording this beauty. It then spent a few months gathering dust in my hard drive before I came back to it to blow out the cobwebs and show it the light of day.
So here you go friends!

I am sitting on the train in the shadow of you
Warm fingers leaving puddles on the places we knew
I'll fall to your knees where my hands lay down
I look up to your eyebrows, which are starting to frown

The trees go passing by (I see them)
The leaves go passing by (I see them)
But the air it seems so light (I don't believe them)

I look up to the sky but it's lying to me
You said my shoulder hurts your face, which is kinda mean
I said your face might be comfy on the window screen
But I know you'd rather have your face on something clean

The trees go passing by (I see them)
The leaves go passing by (I see them)
But the air it seems so light (I don't believe them)

Take some advice from the train and get your life on track
'Cause you know when I leave I'm never coming back
I need someone who is sturdy and you're pretty slack
And that happy look upon your face is starting to crack

Like me
Like you
Sitting still it feels like moving on
But maybe I was wrong

Like me (Breaking at the seams)
Like you (I wonder what it means)
Sitting still it feels like moving on (We don't have to move so fast)
But maybe I was wrong (Doesn't matter if it lasts)
This won't last too long (Doesn't matter if it lasts)
