The church is God's instrument that He is using to declare and defend the truth of the Gospel. And because of this it is critical that the church gets the leadership right. Unqualified elders/pastors inevitably lead theological and behavioral issues in the church. What this means is the church must recognize when someone is called to be an elder/pastor, make sure he meets the biblical qualifications, and then train him and support him. The truth is the local church is the only God-given entity for raising up and ordaining Elders/Pastors. Listen to this weeks message.
