Ignatius of Antioch believed that the first sin Adam and Eve committed was not rebellion, or pride or greed, it was instead ingratitude. Ingratitude takes our heart and mind off of God and his goodness and it causes us to be self centered and self absorbed. Ingratitude is quite possibly the root cause of all sin. Listen to part 2.
