Perhaps the most amazing thing about God is not that he is transcendent or holy or simply beyond the limits of our minds but rather that he wants to be close to you. God became flesh so that you could be reconciled to him in life-giving, soul-satisfying relationship. The God who created all things moved heaven and earth to be near you.
