Some times we struggle to share the gospel with the world around us because to so many parts of the gospel are offensive to people around us. And because of that there is a tendency for us to want to leave out parts of the gospel and change how we tell people about the hope we have in Christ. But the truth is....this is nothing new! The gospel has always offended people. Because the truth convicts and makes us uncomfortable at times. That is why so many struggled to believe the gospel even when it came out of Jesus out mouth. And in the parable of the sower Jesus helps us to see that the problem isn't the gospel itself, the problem is people hearts. And our job isn't to change the gospel but rather faithfully share it and pray God would change their heart. Listen here.
