The disciples were terrified and upset when, in the middle of a life-threatening storm, they found Jesus asleep. But Jesus woke and calmed the storm and then asked them why were you afraid? The truth is that Jesus knew why they were afraid. He asked the question to reveal two important points.
1. They have nothing to fear as long as they are with Christ.
2. They really didn't know Jesus as well as they should.
It was time for them to grow up.
