We are not sinners because we sin. We sin because we are sinners. And the reason we are sinners is because it is our nature. It is who we are! And the reason it is who we are, is because we were in Adam, our covenant representative before God. When he fell, we fell. But the good news is God sent a New Covenant representative the last Adam, Jesus Christ! And by faith in Him we are given a new nature and we are set free by faith in Him and His work on the cross.
