Jesus the lamb who was slain is also the Lion who will one day put down the last of his enemies. That is what we, who are in Christ, long for. The return of our great God and King Jesus Christ, who will put an end to suffering, pain, and sorrow, and bring us finally and fully into the eternal presence of God. We need Jesus the Warrior King.
