If there is a truth that we need to keep in mind as we grow in our walk with Christ is the truth that Jesus will not fit into our mold. Jesus will not bend to our preconceived ideas. Jesus can not be confined to our expectations. And we see this through out the beginning of Mark. But in Mark chapter 2:13-17 we will see just how unexpected and scandalous Jesus grace is.
