In the world we live in appearance seems to be everything. But the Bible reminds us that man looks at the outside, but God looks at the heart. The truth is we often put too much confidence in the outward symbols forgetting they are connected to inward realities. We are not saved by outward rites like baptism, or church attendance, or doing good deeds. We are saved by the grace of God that changes our hearts so that we may exercise faith in the only hope of the world, which is our risen King Jesus Christ. Listen to this week's message.
