The bottom-line truth is this, there is nothing we can do to put God into our debt. He owes us nothing but his wrath and justice. Everything else is God's overwhelming grace in our lives. This is the truth that will help us let go of our self-righteousness. We are not right with God because of what we do for him. We are made right with God by grace through faith in Christ.
