Paul asked "How can we who died to sin still live in it?". In other words how can those who have been brought out of Adam and placed into Christ still live a life enslaved to sin? And the answer is simple; we can't. We may commit sin but our lives will not be enslaved to sin, and the reason for that is, because of our union with Christ , we have died to sin and we now are alive to God in Christ Jesus.
