John Stott once wrote “Most of our problems arise and seem insoluble because our image of God is distorted”. The truth is our image of God is distorted because our view of God is was too low. We tend to want to bring God down to our level and make him like us. But if we are ever going to understand God and how he does what he does we need to learn that God is vastly greater than the limits of our imagination.
