If there is anything you will ever learn from our pastor then let it be this, "No one can save themselves." This is the immutable truth that all of mankind will one day come face to face with. No one can save themselves by their own effort, by their sincerity, by their compassion or by their own self-righteousness. What is required to be in right relationship with God is absolute moral perfection, and the indisputable fact is we have all failed to attain that. Which means no one, by his own effort, can be saved. This is why we need the gospel. Jesus accomplished for us all that is required for our righteousness. And all we can do then to be saved is believe. All that we can do is put our faith in Christ and him alone. Listen to this week's message. Romans 9:30-10:4
