The question that many have is “what happens to the innocent man who lives in the jungle who never hears the gospel?” The late RC Sproul responded with “if an innocent man living in the jungle who never hears the gospel dies, he immediately goes to heaven. The only problem is there is no such thing as an innocent man anywhere”. This is the truth that Romans 1 makes clear. No one is innocent because we all instinctively know what God requires and we fail to do it. And even more, no one is an atheist because everyone knows God exists, even those who vehemently deny it.
