The root of mankind’s problem with God is the fact that mankind doesn’t want God. Paul makes it clear that man suppresses the truth about God, and refuses to honor him as such and trades the glory of God for created things as he gives up worshiping the creator in favor of the creature. The bottom line is mankind in his unregenerated state rejects God at every level. And how is God’s wrath against this rebellion? God gave them up. God gives them up to what they really want; their false God’s and their sin. God allows them to go from bad to worse because that is what they choose. The evidence that God’s judgment is against a person or a nation, is God allows them to go their own way. Just look around. Listen to this week’s message.
