Jesus did not die on the cross to give you a better life or to make you a better person. He did not die on the cross so that you can have more stuff or feel better about yourself. Christ came into the world and sacrificed himself for a reason much bigger than that. The truth is “Who God is" will forever be irrelevant to you, until you understand why Jesus had to die.
