False doctrine says "God loves you just as you are, so its ok if you stay that way." True Doctrine says "God loves you just as you are, but he loves you to much to leave you that way".
The truth is justification and sanctification good hand in hand. The God that saves you from the penalty of sin, is the same God that saves you from the power of sin.
