The truth is everyone one of us knows what it is like to face difficulties and suffering. We have all experienced our own hardships and pain. And if we are real with ourselves we understand that it will not be the last time. We all lose loved ones, we have all failed at something, we have all had our hearts broken. And it is in times like this we find that it is hard to wait on God. Because we want things to change right now. And there are times we even wonder where God is. But what we need to come to grips with is the fact that often times God makes us wait in our trials because he loves. And though this seems counter intuitive, the scriptures remind us that we are not always able to see the big picture and understand how God can and does use our trials for our good and the good of others.
