If there is a text that will keep preachers up at night is the warning from Jesus in Matthew Chapter 7, where Jesus says “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven..."
We preach the gospel so that those we minister too will know the truth and not step into eternity to hear "away from me...I never knew you".
