After the birth of television there were three major networks and by the mid 1980’s a fourth network was trying to breakthrough to the counter culture and a youthful audience, the first sitcom they would attempt would be a direct attack on every hit sitcom at the time, and that would be Married With… Children. A show that broke new ground and upset a huge portion of America but changed the landscape of TV forever, but early on the challenges of being seen on a network that was barely available would be a curse before a blessing.
