When Marilyn Manson released its first album to the world it didn't leave the impression or hype behind the act as they hoped for, the hype was still there behind to co sign of NIN frontman Trent Reznor, but the traveling act needed its own identity and vision, and taking art and performance to an extreme with no compromise would soon redefine them, and behind a performance that would ignite debate and fear across the globe, they would release an album that matched the performance art that would shock and change a generation of teenagers, and introduce the Antichrist the youth could relate to.
