Carlos Gabriel Kelly Gonzalez first book, Wounds Fragments Derelict, takes the fluidity of being Mexican and American, weaving it together with love and loss to produce a novella of poetry. Kelly tells a loosely chronological love story through poetry, mixing in the impact of family, loss, and death.
