Diana Pagán was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois to a Dominican mother and a Puerto Rican father. Her culture played a huge part in her life. She has been part of CAPA for 9 years where she has helped grow Festival Latin@'s budget to attract international headliners and grow it from an event with 15,000 attendance over the 2 day weekend in 2009 to more than 205,000 attendance in 2017 making it the largest free-family centric Latin@ Festival in the State. In 2016 Festival Latino received an EXPY Award for the celebration of its 20th anniversary.
