Description

Nicholas “Nic” Flores is a PhD candidate in the Department of Comparative Studies at The Ohio State University. Nic’s research interests coheres around HIV/AIDS prevention work. He is investigating how prevention strategies aimed at “high risk” populations in the mid-Ohio region, specifically how pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), affects black and brown communities. He has conducted fieldwork at a local community based organization in Columbus, Ohio aimed at LGBTQ holistic health. Nic teaches courses on literature, ethnicity, and US Latina/o experiences at Ohio State.
