Speak Up & Dance was founded by a group of friends in November 2025 in memory of their dancefloor brother, Stuart Shone, who tragically took his own life in April 2021.

Bio:
Mark SN1 has been part of the UK house music scene since 1994. As one half of Beatitudo DJs, he co-hosts the monthly radio show “Deep House Sessions” on Soul Roots Radio under the Beatitudo banner, showcasing the finest deep, melodic, afro, and progressive house sounds.
In the ’90s, Mark launched SN1 Records, an independent record store, and promoted numerous dance events and club nights across the South West, performing at many of the region’s most respected nights of that era.
Today, most of Mark’s performances are with Beatitudo DJs, appearing at leading UK festivals and curating their own boutique festival, Evolve. His sets draw on house classics spanning four decades while championing fresh, innovative sounds and emerging artists for his listeners and dancefloors.
Whether behind the decks or on the airwaves, Beatitudo DJs craft an unforgettable journey through house music—blending heritage, creativity, and a refined, groove-led atmosphere that connects with discerning audiences.
