Slim Goodgroove – also known as The Sly Players, Simon Stardust, Shindig Allstars and Goodgroove – is a DJ, producer, label boss and festival director dedicated to moving dance floors. Founder of Goodgroove Records, he helped shape the funk-driven club sound that became essential for DJs worldwide. The label grew from his Goodgroove club nights in the South West, where disco, funk, house and breaks met in high-energy sessions.
He is also the Event Director behind the award-winning Shindig Festival, one of the UK’s most beloved independent events. This helped birth a new venue and club night called Shimmy Discotheque which is going back to Slim's roots of house and disco.
