Brothers and sisters in Islam, Al-Bukariyy and Muslim narrated that the Prophet peace be upon him said, “We do not rely on special writings or calculations to determine the beginning or the end of the month – the month is either twenty-nine or thirty days day. Based on this Hadith and others and according to the Islamic Rules we at Darulfatwa Islamic High Council of Australia would like to announce to the Muslim Community that Sunday the 25th of June 2017 is the day of Eid Al-Fitr. May Allah grant us the blessings of this great occasions, accepts our deeds and help us reach piety. Ameen
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم -الحمد لله حق حمده والصلاة والسلام على نبينا محمد وعلى آله وصحبه وبعد فقد قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : صوموا لرؤيته وأفطروا لرؤيته فإن غُمَّ عليكم فأكموا العدة ثلاثين. عملا بهذا الحديث الشريف نعلن لعموم المسلمين أنه قد ثبت شرعا لدى دار الفتوى في أستراليا أن يوم الأحد الخامس والعشرين من شهر حزيران يونيو - 25-06 - لهذا العام ألف وأربعمائة وثمانية وثلاثين 1438 ألفان وسبعة عشر 2017 هو يوم عيد الفطر السعيد أعاده الله علينا وعليكم وعلى جميع المسلمين بالخير واليمن والبركة.
