Description

In the first episode of Breaking Bread and Barriers, we join sister Ashia in her kitchen as she cooks us a traditional Indo-Fijian Ramadan iftaar - chicken curry, bhajiya, fresh tomato chutney, and a warm lentil soup.

Throughout her preparation, we discussed what Ramadan was like for Ashia back home, and how she carried her traditions into the Australian context.
