Description

The Muslim Community Radio 2MFM has joined together with the NSW Government, TrackSAFE, and key community groups to raise awareness this Rail Safety week about the potentially lethal consequences of being unsafe around the railway.
With a person killed or injured on the Australian rail network every 2.5 days, we are urging all Australians to stay #RailSAFE and think about their behavior around railway lines.
In this episode, Nadia speaks with Heather Neil, Executive Director of the TrackSAFE foundation about the importance of rail safety at crossings and the dangers of trespassing and what we can do to save families and communities from enduring heartbreaking tragedies on our railway network.
