World Radio Day is an observance day held annually on 13 February. World Radio Day is about celebrating radio and why we need it today. A day to remember the unique power of radio to touch lives and bring people together across every corner of the world. It was proclaimed on 3 November 2011 by UNESCO's 36th General Conference after originally proposed by the Kingdom of Spain.

اليوم العالمي للراديو هو يوم تهتم به الإذاعات عبر العالم لتبان أهمية الدور الإذاعي في مجتمعنا اليوم.
وكان قد تم الإعلان عن هذا اليوم في 3 نوفمبر تشرين التاني 2011 من قبل المؤتمر العام السادس والثلاثين لليونسكو بعد أن كانت قد اقترح في الأصل من قبل مملكة اسبانيا.
