This week’s show, SKIES, sits somewhere between uplift and reflection.
I found myself going down a bit of a historical rabbit hole learning about Haile Selassie and his time in Bath. There’s something powerful about imagining that moment an emperor in exile, moving through the same streets and spaces we pass through now.
Bath Skyline Closer to the present, we spent time walking the Bath Skyline Walk — open views, clear air, that sense of space that really connects with the feeling of this episode.

And then into Watershed to catch a film that really stayed with me. Seeing Little Simz on screen alongside Cillian Murphywas something else the performance, the atmosphere, the weight of it. Proper moving, and genuinely gripping from start to finish. Little Simz in particular was incredible.
