Thank you for all the love for last week’s Troyboi interview! This week was no different with another jam packed show with the exclusive and good vibes. Trapdoor Records were kind enough to give us the very first play of Maydien‘s ‘Foreign Trance’ featuring Waldo & The Sevnth as well as Solboi‘s ‘Mako’ which is set to be a joint FBR X Trapdoor release. Each week we search the Soundcloud galaxy for the finest undiscovered music and the Darker Than Wax family let us spin their new project ChefRed ‘QT’ right before the embark on their Brazil tour!
Our Planet Next feature this week is internationally known as Boston’s favourite tiger; he’s one of Soundcloud’s Premier Partners and just released a track called “Higher Love” exclusively for their official blog featuring Tokyo Megaplex and Stel Leo! We are of course talking about Sevnth Wonder! In addition to all of that he’s recently been featured on the Heroic Recordings X Rockforce Records compilation with his ‘1995’ track and is releasing an EP with Future Beats Records. So it was our humble pleasure to premiere the first single ‘Silk Road’ featuring CAPSUN & Brasstracks which is the first track that Complexion ever reloaded on Future Beats Radio since it’s conception.
Our guest mix this week was by the amazing brazilian DJ duo Sweet Grooves who especially included Soundpalette‘s Diamonds & Pearls into the set! They kept the mix club friendly with tracks from Gravez, Promnite & Falcons, Tek.Lun, Patchwork and J-Louis too!
Last but no means least, FBR Co-Pilot Yazbeatz caught up with Chris McClenney ahead of his Soulection live show to discuss the difference between composing and producing as well as where his Neo-Soul influences stem from! The Flow-Fi / Soulection producer spoke about his decision to change his name from MisterMack to Chris McClenney and his approach to remixing! All of this and tonnes of good vibes in this week’s show!
