Dr. David Wall Rice, associate professor in the Department of Psychology at Morehouse College and Director of the Institute for Social Justice Inquiry and Praxis at the Andrew Young Center for Global Leadership, discusses the second annual Leadership & Sports Advocacy Workshop at Morehouse College, March 27-29, which empowered professional athletes who are invested in social impact causes with the skills and tools to use their power and platform to be effective advocates for change. The workshop is the product of a partnership of RISE, the NFL and Morehouse College, and featured athletes from football, basketball, wrestling, track & field and bobsled.
