Description

Kyle Harrison is a veteran, accomplished lacrosse player and one of the few black professional players in the sport. He is a player and league executive in the Premier Lacrosse League, where he serves as head of player relations and diversity and inclusion, as well as plays midfielder for the Redwoods Lacrosse Club. Kyle was a seven-time Major League Lacrosse All-Star and a three-time All-American in college, where he won the Tewaaraton Award as the country's most outstanding player during his senior year at Johns Hopkins University in 2005 while leading the Blue Jays to an undefeated national championship season. Kyle has committed to using his platform to advance diversity within the sport and joins us to share his experience as a person of color in a majority white game and his efforts to grow lacrosse and make it more inclusive. We also talk about what’s in store at the annual national lacrosse convention, LaxCon 2020, hosted by US Lacrosse and PLL in Philadelphia January 10-12.
