Jan 5th 2020- we launched the new year with a story about surviving a Zombie Apocalypse with the team at Miller's Surplus. Little did we know we were foreshadowing the most extraordinary of years. Our last episode of 2020, we interviewed Francisco Romero-Spanish voice of U. of Arizona Wildcats Football and Basketball teams. about the potential of Wildcat football in the pandemic stricken 2020. His answer, "it's too soon to tell". It became clear that every story we could share would probably end with the same question and the same answer. How's it going-- too soon to tell. We decided to take a break. That was May 10th, 2020 and we are happy to be back.
Truthfully, the time off was provided a chance to reflect on the amazing stories we've been able to share since our launch in 2017. We took the time to create a solid plan for 2021, including all remote interviews, adding video to our site and launching the podcast wherever we could. You can now find us on Spotify, iTunes, Google and amazon. I hope you check us out by asking your smart speaker to play Life Along the Streetcar.
Our resolution for the year is to bring back the life along the streetcar and remind all of us of how special our urban core is. And stay tuned after our broadcast for encore presentations of our past episodes at the bottom of the hour.
