Āman, the german duo conformed by Marc Philipp and Florian Meffert recorded this groovy and minimalistic mix for our episode 43rd.
Marc Philipp is a well-known name in the underground electronic music scene. He was a part of the famous Jacuzzi Boys HQ. He runs a label called 87 Records where like-minded artists and friends release on. Additionally, he is part of a project called Msdeep. Now, he laid ground in the HfG Studios Offenbach where he produced most of his past and upcoming releases.
Speaking of Florian Meffert, he has always taken a rather minimal but also individual approach when it comes to his productions. To list all of his releases, remixes, and edits we could go on forever because his driven passion and matchless sound lead to a constant creative flow where he manages to outgrow himself steadily. To name a few, Pleasure Zone, Arupa Music, Palavre Records, and truelovesounds.
The project Āman started in their studio when they were producing music. With Marc‘s wealth of experience and Florian‘s love for details, they soon realized how well they work and produce together. As a result, they merge both names to create Āman and begin to share decks as a duo.
Their latest release is on the Frankfurt label truelovesounds, a melodic and intelligent beauty. Currently, they are working on a new album which we are already excited to listen to. Hit play and enjoy the journey!
