Darelectric (Darianna Mayer) is in constant pursuit of the perfect sound. She immerses herself in sensory experiences that feed her deepest, most innate desire: to connect with music.
For her, music is a vessel - a uniquely intangible medium that allows us to escape the confines of our bodies, to transcend the boundaries of space and time. With her music, she takes her listeners to distant and imagined places. Through deep layers of resonant, soul-engaging techno, Darelectric creates a space for her shape-shifting, interdimensional sound to be born.
Powered by intuition; tailored by the intellect, Darelectric developed her signature blend of minimal, techno, deep house, house, nu-disco, deep tech, and dub techno.
While she began her DJ career in Venezuela in the early 2000s, she soon took her musical talents to New York City, where she was based for 9 years. On any given night, you could catch Darelectric playing at some of NYC's finest clubs, lounges, and private events. She's shared the decks with renowned acts such as Radio Slave, Coyu, Matt Tolfrey, Lee Foss, Dennis Ferrer, Tedd Patterson, Taylor Shockley, Dee Montero, Alexander Technique, Molly, Ted Krisko, - to name a few.
Darelectric has released her productions on Frequenza Records, Moleskine Records, SOAR, and Rebel Eye, and has worked on remixes for various artists around the world. Darelectric is currently based in Miami, Florida.
