I'm a LeAnn Rimes fanboy - I admit it.
But with a career spanning more than a quarter century, and covering multiple genres, what's not to like?
On top of that, she's often paired with the most superb remixers - Dave Audé, Cahill, Graham Stack - with happy results.
The focus in this mix is LeAnn Rimes, but I've avoided her big hits and chosen to lean into her neglected gems (of which there are many!). I've interleaved her tracks with other artists in the same style. The result is a bit of a musical poem. I hope that it rhymes. :-)
Looking over the completed mix, I see that it has a definite mood, with the final two tracks comprising a call and response. Many tracks are on the thoughtful and pensive side. Such things are part of life.
So my wish for all of you for March is that you remember that hope is a virtue. There's always hope. :-)
