This week's mix is a special one for me, as many of you may or may not know, 12inchthumpers was a massive part of my musical journey, and oh my days, what a journey it was!
A lifelong friend, Nickspx, and I formed to start writing music under the alias of Vinyl Coup.
Around 2000/2001, we sent a demo off to the mighty 12inchthumpers. A little while later, we had a call from Alan & Wraggy asking if they could sign our track, and that was the beginning of an unreal journey of being a part of the 12inchthumpers Family. In turn, we got to go down and spend lots of time with Alan, and we got to meet other members of the 12inchthumpers family.
From releasing music as part of the family, we also had the privilege of being signed to Fresh DJ Agency, and Barry and Alex would look after us. We got to tour and play all over and meet some incredible people along the way... nothing but good memories and lots of love throughout. ❤️
