Stories are central to the human experience; we love to tell them and love to listen to them, and we tend to walk away from them having been changed in some way. Jesus was a master storyteller: He had a way of telling stories (the Bible calls them parables) that forced His audience to ask profound and relevant questions about their lives.
Watch as Pastor Clint explores Jesus' story about the lost sheep, and what this tells us about Jesus and ourselves.

2. “Only the man who has had to face despair is really convinced that he needs mercy. Those who do not want mercy never seek it. It is better to find God on the threshold of despair than to risk our lives in a complacency that has never felt the need of forgiveness. A life that is without problems may literally be more hopeless than one that always verges on despair.” -Thomas Merton, "No Man Is An Island"
