A local sheriff’s office tweeted a warning not to fire at the storm over the weekend after a Facebook event called “Shoot at Hurricane Irma” went viral. “LETS SHOW IRMA THAT WE SHOOT FIRST [sic],” the event description read. Around 56,000 people showed interest in the event planned for Sunday morning. While one of the event creators wrote it off as “sarcasm,” the number of people jumping on the bandwagon was enough to alarm the Pasco Sheriff’s Office. Doc Thompson and Kal Elsebai look at the odd story on Monday’s “The Morning Blaze with Doc Thompson.”
